Deposit & Scheduling:

Generator installation is a pretty rapid process; taking approximately 2 days to complete for air-cooled generators and about three days for liquid-cooled units, which require a custom generator pad to be poured.
- The generator will be delivered to your property
- Our technician will locate and place it on a pre-molded base pad
- Our technician will mount an automatic transfer switch
- Our plumber will connect the generator to the fuel source (propane or natural gas)
- Our electrician will wire the automatic transfer switch to the fuse box and to the generator
- Final start-up: Once your installation is complete, our technician will perform a full inspection of the generator and give you a tutorial on how the generator works
Why Choose Hannah Energy?
The key to a successful installation is to find a Manufacturer Authorized Service Dealer, like Hannah Energy, who offers a complete turn-key installation. If your generator dealer outsources aspects of the installation, make sure they are accountable for all aspects of the installation that get outsourced (electrical, plumbing, delivery, etc). Often times they’re not!
Installation is a significant task and one that shouldn’t be taken lightly. It should only be performed by licensed professionals like those on staff at Hannah Energy. This is not a do-it-yourself project. In fact, most manufacturers will void your warranty if the generator is not installed by a Manufacturer Authorized Technician.
Standby generators weigh anywhere from 300 to 2,500 pounds and must be mounted on a prepared, level surface. They are permanently connected to a natural gas or liquid propane fuel source and are integrated into the home’s electrical system, so they can constantly monitor your home’s power and automatically transfer to generator power within a quick moment of electricity loss.
Ensuring required permits and/or inspections are completed, is also part of the installation process. Failure to have appropriate permits can lead to your generator’s forced removal and fines levied by local building inspectors.
Protect your investment. Choose Hannah Energy for your back-up generator installation.
